Hycroft Mining (HYMC) shares rocketed 21% Wednesday after independent auditors confirmed a 55% expansion in recoverable gold and silver reserves. The revised estimate now shows 16.4 million gold ounces and 562.6 million silver ounces—a $50 billion bounty at current prices.

Metallurgical tests confirm conventional methods can extract 83% of gold and 78% of silver. While full-scale production remains years away, the scale of the find positions Hycroft as a potential game-changer in precious metals mining.
